📱 What is Sviy dlya Svoikh?

Sviy dlya Svoikh ("One of Our Own") is a free online platform — a website and an Android app — where individuals and entrepreneurs publish their services, and other users find the right providers, send them requests and communicate with them directly.

The platform is available in Ukrainian and English. The catalog of services and profiles can be browsed without registering.

🎯 Our Mission

We built a platform that brings together the Ukrainian diaspora and the wider community to help one another in running businesses and finding services. Our goal is to support our own people and build a community of trust, where everyone can find the services they need from people who share common values.

The purpose of the platform is to help people find each other for services and business cooperation:

• find a service provider by category and city;
• present your services and business to a wide audience;
• contact a provider directly — through a request or chat;
• choose based on other users' reviews and ratings.

👥 Who can use the platform

The platform is for individuals and entrepreneurs. When registering, you choose one of three profile types:

Using the platform and listing services is free of charge.

🧩 Platform features

• Catalog and search: find services and providers by category and city.
• Profiles: user profiles and business profiles with a description, contacts and photos.
• Services: publish and edit your own services with a description and images.
• Requests: send a request to a provider, or publish an open request that other users can respond to.
• Chat: private messages between users.
• Favorites: save the profiles and services you need.
• Reviews and ratings: rate providers from 1 to 5 and leave a comment.
• Reports: report a user, service, request, review or message; reports are reviewed by the administration.

📝 How registration works

1. Open the registration page and choose a profile type: viewer, regular or business.
2. Fill in the form: first name, last name, email and password (at least 6 characters). Phone, city and profile photo are optional.
3. After registering, you are signed in right away and can complete your profile.
4. Next time, sign in with your email and password.

A viewer can switch to a regular profile for free at any time.

🔒 How user information is protected

We apply the following protection measures:

• Passwords are stored only as hashes (bcrypt) — the plain-text password is never stored.
• Sign-in is maintained with session tokens in secure cookies (httpOnly; in production, sent over HTTPS only).
• The website and the app work over a secure HTTPS connection.
• The number of sign-in and registration attempts is limited to make password guessing harder.
• Actions that require an account (messages, requests, reviews) are available only to signed-in users.
• You can delete your account yourself (password confirmation required) — the related data is deleted.
